The Alaniz Excellence in Education Foundation is honored to receive support from individuals, families and businesses who care about our children and their quest for higher education.  Such support advances the mission of the foundation to make a quality education accessible to all children.

You can support the Foundation and it's mission along with the children of our community in many ways.  There are opportunities for you to create an ever lasting gift through Scholarship Endowments, Program Endowments and Community Project Endowments to support the children and the community.

Endowments at the Alaniz Excellence in Education Foundation are a sound investment.  With an endowed gift, you provide permanent support for the children and the community.  Your gift is invested - never spent - and each year a distribution, like dividends on a mutual fund account, is made to your chosen scholarship, program or area of interest.  Investment earnings above the dividend rate help the endowment value grow over time, to keep pace with inflation and maintain your endowment's spending power.

There are many endowment opportunities and funding levels available.  Choosing what your endowment gift will support is simply a matter of selecting a program that matches your interest.  From scholarships to specific program and community project endowments, your legacy can take almost any form.

You may take up to five years to fund an endowment, and once it is officially established, you or anyone else may continue to add to it's principal at any time.  Moreover, by selecting the title of your endowment, you can forever link your name, or that of a family member or friend, or organization to scholarly excellence.

Scholarship Endowments

Endowments provide a permanent source of scholarship funding for students regardless of their financial circumstances.  Your assistance allows students to concentrate on their coursework while also participating more fully in extracurricular programs that will enhance their personal development.  Named scholarship endowments can be established with a minimum contribution of $10,000.  The minimum endowment gift can be achieved over a period of 5 years and contributions can be made by one or more donors.

Program Endowments

Support excellence in specific or general programs of study throughout education.  You can choose to support the area in which you earned your degree or another program that interest you.  Your support will be combined with the generosity of others with similar interests.  The minimum gift for a named endowment is $5,000 and can be achieved over a period of 5 years.

Community Project Endowments

Support the Foundation in constructing and maintaining the facilities that are to be used to benefit the children and the community as a whole.  Currently the Foundation is undertaking the construction of a multi-phase sports complex that will include baseball fields, softball fields, playground areas, batting cages, soccer fields and other recreational sports.

Currently over 180 children playing tee-ball and machine or coach pitch baseball are left without facilities to practice on or even play on.  In addition, the girls' youth softball league is left with no option but to utilize the school district's sole softball facility.

Named endowments can be established with a minimum contribution of $5,000.  The minimum endowment gift can be achieved over a period of 5 years and contributions can be made by one or more donors, bronze plaques at the entrance of the sports complex will honor your generosity and your legacy for generations to come.
